I was blessed this summer with the opportunity to meet with small organic farmers growing the most amazing teas and herbs.
I visited a beautiful organic mamaki rainforest farm on the Big Island of Hawaii. The mamaki that is grown there is extrememly special. It’s the very best I’ve ever tasted. This tea feels so nourishing, fortifying and stabilizing. I now have a cup every morning of this herbal tea to galvanize for the day.
Mamaki tea is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, where it was thought of as a "miracle tea". It has a long history of being utilized as a wellness tea. Mamaki is reputed to decrease stress, and increase energy levels. Research has also shown that it may be high in antioxidants – even surpassing green tea levels.
