Tea of Light’s mission is to support our tea drinkers’ choice to raise their frequency, and be lifted to a higher state of being. As the work of Dr David Hawkins and others demonstrates, our state of being changes as our vibration goes up the frequency scale. We feel differently, we think differently, we act differently, we see the world differently, and different possibilities present themselves to us at a higher vibration. As we raise our individual frequencies, our collective frequency gets a boost too. This offers so much powerful new potential for our life here on this planet.

About our Founder
For decades, Maryse Cardin has been deeply connected to the world of tea, inspirational writing, meditation, and personal empowerment. Her tea journey began while living in Japan, where she had the privilege of learning from the tea master of the world’s oldest tea company. She later worked with an extraordinary tea blendmaster, deepening her appreciation for the artistry of creating tea blends.
Her interest in the wellness properties of herbs began as a teenager, when her mother started consulting a herbalist. This early experience sparked Maryse’s lifelong appreciation for the wisdom and wellbeing potential of herbs and herbal teas.
Maryse is also a university communication teacher, helping her students discover how the way they speak to themselves can support their confidence, wellbeing, and personal growth. Alongside her teaching, she has devoted years to meditation, coaching, and writing books about positive self-talk, including 5-Minute Morning Magic and Speaking to Yourself with Love.
After years of meditation and guiding others to elevate their inner dialogue, Maryse was guided to bring these passions together. Tea of Light was born as an extension of her work with Self Talk Love—combining her lifelong love of tea with her belief in the power of intention, energy, and conscious living.
